A bit about Viboo... In recent times, our lives have been improved in countless ways by the advances of smartphones and wearable tech. However, low batteries and the constant searching and sorting of the vast array of cables we all have lying around the house, is a constant cause of frustration. Wouldn't it be great if we could come home, or arrive at work, simply put our devices down and know that they would be sat there charging, till we were out the door again? Wireless charging now enables that and is available for most phones, smart watches, and earbuds. To make this solution available to all, we at Viboo created the VB1002, 3 in 1 Wireless Charging Station. A wireless charger that allows you to charge your phone, earbuds, and Galaxy watch all in one place. Whether at home, at work, or both, you get the peace of mind that whatever you're doing, your devices are getting charged safely and simultaneously, while saying goodbye to all your messy, mixed up and damaged cables. Why not? You will need to check the compatibility of your phone first as this is most likely your main device. Our list of compatible devices above cover most of the most popular devices, but there are so many more that we couldn't list that will also be QI compatible. How does it work? Within wireless charging systems, there are two coils that create a magnetic field. Through these coils, power transfers from one device to another. The first coil, the transmitter, is typically the one in the charging device. The second coil, the receiver, is the coil inside your phone, watch or earbuds. Why does the VB1002 only charge the Samsung Galaxy Watch? Samsung and a few other manufacturers have installed specific software in their watches so they are not compatible with standard wireless charging devices. The VB1002 has been configured to be compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Watch wireless charging protocol. What are the Pros and Cons of Wireless Charging? In short, the pros are less clutter, no more damaged cables, damaged or dusty charging ports, or hunting for the right cable. Instead, simplicity, convenience, and huge range of cross compatibility. The cons are few, relatively minor and generally rare, but present none the less, and worthy of an explanation. Slower charging time: wired is generally faster, though more and more phones are increasing their wireless charging speeds. Placement of device: the coils need to be aligned to work. With a huge range of phones out there and no standard for coil location within the phone, some phones may charge only in the vertical or horizontal position, though the majority will do both. Finally, there is the very small chance of coil vibration creating an audible noise. This is rare, but not unknown. Most major device manufactures include literature on their sites about the small risk of a low audible noise with wireless charging. More about the product.... Should I go Wireless? Why not? Some homes have USB ports integrated into their power sockets and most of us have a drawer full of adapters from other devices. However, these power socket USB ports and old adapters typically have a low power output of around 2.1 Watts. To charge 3 devices at once or charge at a faster speed, please use the 18W adapter included. Also, the different operating frequencies of a low power supply and a fast charging device such as the Viboo VB1002, has been known to increase the likelihood of vibration in the coils and audible noise from the charger or the supply.
